Measure the space between the tiles.
My house is only 2 years old and i already have some.
If the width is 1 8 of an inch or smaller use an unsanded grout.
If the floor appears dry or stains easily however the stone surface might require.
Wipe away the excess grout with the edge of the grout float.
We have steam cleaned our natural stone floors here which was a time consuming process but the results were worth the effort.
Hold the float so it s at a 45 degree angle with the floor.
It looks great on shower walls ceilings and floors as well as on the floor outside the shower where it s not so great is the areas of performance and maintenance.
Slowly drag the edge of the float over the gap you filled to scrape up the excess grout and make the grout flush with the rest of the floor.
Natural stone in the shower is largely about appearance.
Epoxy grout is the best choice for showers because is water and stain resistant and requires no sealing.
Choose the correct type of grout based on the width of your tile joints and where the repair is being done.
This fix is only practical for interior tile floors and when the gaps between the tiles are 1 4 in.
We have also color sealed our grout here another process that completely transforms the look of tile.

At most tile specialty shops you can get or order sanded caulk most floor grouts are sanded that will closely match your existing grout color.
Stone must be sealed regularly and it can be difficult to clean if it s highly textured or has wide grout lines.

3 check the grout where you started by touching it with your finger.
As long as the pebble tiles were installed correctly and the pebbles and grout were finished properly with sealer they re relatively easy to clean.
